Modern Rugs LA

Rugs really can make your entire room come together! A good rug is everything — and by good I mean not only one that looks good, but that fits right. Honestly, the size is almost more important than the look of it sometimes! Rugs can be really pricey, so when I find a vendor that sells rugs that not only look great but that are also reasonably priced, they become my go-to on every project.

I recently came across this fabulous rug store Modern Rugs LA and I fell in love with their selection. They have every kind of rug imaginable from modern, to morrocan shag, to traditional patterns and styles, their prices are fantastic! Sasha the owner is wonderful and I think I stopped by for a new rug every day last week (lots of fun and exciting design projects in the works!) If you live in LA, Modern Rugs is a must!

Remember:: when buying a rug you should opt to buy something bigger than smaller — something that anchors your space so that most of your furniture floats on the rug. I love this helpful diagram for picking the perfect sized living room rug! Trust, me, when you get the right-sized rug, your space will feel much bigger! And buy something that will last through changing styles at tastes. It’s much easier to switch up throw pillows and curtains as opposed to a rug. So buy something in a more neutral tone that goes with your furniture but that still can add some flair!
